Behind Every Sweet Bite . . . 

Hi, I'm Juanita ! 

A proud Latina baker based in Buda, TX. My journey into the world of baking began in 2007 when I met the love of my life a man with a serious sweet tooth.

They say the way to the heart is through the stomach, so I made it my mission to find out just how true that was. I had never made a dessert before, but it was my older sister who taught me how to make my very first creation: the famous “Impossible Cake,” also known as Chocoflan.

From there, I started diving into recipes, videos, and pastry books that helped me create a new dessert at home every week. I would share them with friends and family at gatherings and everyone was amazed! That’s when the orders started rolling in.

It wasn’t until 2021 that I had the opportunity to study a diploma in basic pastry arts, and I realized just how deeply passionate I was about baking. I’ve always worked in restaurants, but I dreamed of having something of my own.  So in 2022, with the support of my husband my official taste tester the idea for Berry Tasty Pastry Shop was born.

Today, we run a bakery food truck filled with a wide variety of flavors I’m excited to share with everyone. I promise you it’ll be a flavor explosion with every bite!
